I honestly don't give a rat's arse about the United States, let alone watch their TV programmes or listen to their music. It really ticks me off to see all this American programming everywhere and all these wireless stations playing nothing but American music. Canadian media is vastly superiour. We have great musicians like Gordon Lightfoot, Neil Young, Burton Cummings, Kim Mitchell and Alex Lifeson; I really don't need to be hearing all this American rubbish about getting "wasted" and going to "clubs". I also go to the cinema to watch a nice film and almost every time I go there, every single movie is American. There are so many great Canadian film makers, why do we need these garbage American films in the cinema? And worst of all, in recent years evil, greedy, American corporations like Wal-Mart are opening stores in Canada? Why does this happen? Wal-Mart maltreats all of their employees and have extreme negative affects on small businesses, yet they don't care as long as they can keep making an income of 75 billion each year.
