Resolved Question: What are the names of these instruments?

The instrument that looks like a guitar [if i remember correctly] that you slide a metal bar up and down the strings to make a very smooth sound. [used in neil young - heart of gold and some elvis songs] The asian [i think chinese] string instrument that you here plucked in asian movies [house of flying daggers for example] the wind asian instrument that you here in asian movies [house of flying daggers for example] The wind instrument from what I can guess is india or persia or wherever, it's in a lot of movies, if i'm not mistaken it's used in songs on the fifth element, 300, dantes inferno soundtrack, etc. maybe even used in troy? it's a crazy sound.
